Need mailing list software

Hi, I'd like to start a mailing list of a few of my bigger sites since everyone is doing it these days I'm sure there are some nice advanced software around. Can anyone tell me a few URL's of where I can get the mailinst list software please?

First place to look, would be http://freshmeat.net/
There are alot of things there you may be interested in, I havn't used
any myself except on the client end, so I'm not sure how difficult to setup,
but I imagine not too bad. (I've written some stuff myself, but it's all been for very special cases - easier to re-write than to port.. well, maybe not, but I feel the code is ugly enough I'd rather re-write
