Questions Regarding Galleries

Hi,

I've read all of the gallery submitting tutorials on cozyacademy and I understand the basics of how to submit and the whole idea behind it. However, my skills in photoshop and html are limited. Can anyone direct me to a site where I can learn more about these two functions? More specifically, I would really like to learn how to go about making fancy/eye-catching gallery templates; are there any sites that teach this?

Adult design tutorials are few and far between... you're best learning Photoshop basics and then practicing duplicating other templates to start off.
