Newbie webmaster needs your opinion

I am about to post some of my original content on some TGPs to help generate traffic to my new site. I need to know, is it kosher to "brand" my pics with my site URL?

I am thinking of just using small text in the upper left hand corner of each pic, NO blind links or any crap like that.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but like I said I am a rookie. It's just that I produce all of my own content and I guess I am a little protective of it (I know - "get over it", right?).

So your opinions please.

almost half of the galleries i review have sum kinda "logo" on their pix. but most of them is free content from sponsors....

just "brand" your pix if you like to .....but keep it small ;-)
