Quick Photoshop cs2 question

when I open a pic in photoshop, it opens at 66.7%.
how do I make photoshop open an image at 100%?
there has to be a setting for this but I can't find it.
I looked under Edit>Preferences, but no luck.

Just use zoom function.

Alt+Ctrl+0 will give a actual pixels. I know this isnt the answer you requested but works almost as well.

Just for this there is a feature of CS2 called Script Events...

1.Create a new Action, call it 'Fit on Screen'

2.Pick Insert Menu Item from the Actions palette menu

3.Go to View> "Actual Pixels" and click OK to add this to the action

4.Pick Insert Menu Item again

5.Go to View> "Rulers" and click OK

6.Click the Stop icon on the Actions palette to stop recording the action.

7.Pick File> Scripts> Script Events Manager

8.Make sure Enable Events to Run Scripts/Actions is checked

9.From the Photoshop Event menu pick Open Document

10.Click the Action radio button and pick your Fit To Screen action from the popup menu

11.Click the Add button

12.Click the Done button

Each time you open a document the Fit on Screen action will automatically run so from now on you should be worry-free!
