Yes, it is nice, thought, you have to count on the fact that any design truly exists only if it brings money. The first and foremost problem in your design are the colors, they must not be too bright else they bother the visitor.It could take a day to explain but shortly: don't forget a site's main purpose....
a professional site is one that brings money because every detail has been thought through.

Don't try to reinvent the weel...Learn from what others have done, and combine that with your own creativity! (learn not steal)

That looks like a good, clean start, but in my opinion the colors are a little too bright/loud. Especially the 'header' image. May want to bring that down a little to a less loud color.

Also, you may want to consult a color wheel to come up with a contrasting color. Monochromatic color schemes usually do not look good with very bright colors... adding a color from the opposite end of the spectrum will offset the bright pink and make the user feel more comfortable.

Just my opinion.
