    Gallery Program Suggestions

I have a couple of sites that are in need of a nice gallery program..I am curious which ones seem to be the best... I would like to have one that auto thumbnails and watermarks, should also handle video requests... Oh I should let you all know that its shared Unix hosting and not a dedicated server for these sites...

    ThanX

No one out there has any suggestions or had good luck with a good gallery program ??? I do not want to write one myself as it prob would take longer than it would to type in my credit card number :-)

Come on people - share some info ....

        Autogallery pro is a option.

i use it as well... and a lot of others too.

it's an easy to install program and features a lot of options (enough for me anyway).

You can get autogallery pro for 75$ so that''s ok!

take a look at www.jbmsoftware.com for autogallery pro

cool thank you very much for the feedback, I was made aware of autogallery but I didn't know which one, I found two programs very similar with the same name.

          Thanks a lot.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for, but being a programmer, I'll
point to an overly complex solution to what I think you want
ImageMagick is great for manipulating images en-masse.
If you're running on a unix host, a quick one line perl/shell
            script would be trivial.
            (ie
            find ./ |perl -e'while <> { chomp; `image magic command line here, $_ is the image filename`; }

The trick is in finding the right image magick command, and then it all just works.

yeah actually that is what I am already doing.. I think I found a few programs that actually incorporate ImageMagick pretty well and we will be doing something similar to that.

              Thank you

Thumbnailer by Smaller Animals is a nice choice, you a vast number of options of HTML pages and JPEG images, depending upon the type of site you are making. It is rock solid.

Auto Gallery PRo is outstanding also, you couldn't go wrong there. I have been playing around with CompuPic Pro for the last couple of days...it has a free download and a bunch neat skins you can incorporate into your thumbs.

                  They are all good.

Take a look at the latest version of TGP Devil. It has a thumbnail preview feature and link bot. Lot of bells and whistles. I have started converting some of my sites to it. TGPDEVIL
