    How much should I charge.

I did a website for a local company, fairly large project with a whole custom written php script / mysql database, full design etc. My first real project, took about 25+ hrs. But now the word spread that I do good work and another company emailed me.

All they want is a simple informational website tho, webdesign, they provide the text pics etc. From the sounds of it, I can prolly do the whole webpage in one day. But how much do you charge for such a thing? I dont want to overcharge, but I also wanna be paid fairly for my talents.

How much do you guys charge?

yea pricing is difficult, industry standards say you should charge quite a bit. if you do professional work then go up from what you got paid last time, just dont get greedy.

for a basic brochure type website I generally charge $75-100 a page depending on how much work needs to be done. The more pages are required the less I charge. Discount for volume ya know.

          Charge

For a full day of work I would charge 200-300$. If you don't charge enough you will lose credibility and your clients will get accustomed to low prices. Charge a fair price for quality work and stand behind your work. That is the way to go.

            very good advice, fobos
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I agree but keep in mind that it also depends on the skills the person has.
One professional can do the same work in a shorter amount of time for example.

                  i usually charge about $100 a day!
it depends cause sometimes projects seem really big and like theyll take a lot of time, but when your actually coding an hour is a long time and I always feel that iv overcharged!
