    Blocking countries by IP address

What are the best ways to block access to a site from countries with undesirable traffic? I know there are commercial lists with listings of IP ranges by country; does anyone use them, and which is the best?

I agree unless there is a compeling reason to totally block access it does make sense to utilize that traffic for what its worth (albeit not much)
