Returned check - need details

I received a returned check from an advertister.

I have no idea who they might be though.

Can anyone help?

The check details are:

from Fred Robinson TR The Fred Robinson Trust DTD 07-01-93 DBA Kenzoer Arati

drawn on American Savings BK Hawaii.

Why was the check returned? Stop payment? Closed Account? Non-Sufficent Funds? Forgery? The reason should be stamped across the face of the check.

If it was for NSF, you can take the check back to your bank and demand that it be re-deposited and they will try to clear it again.

well a bouncing check is a form of fraud, if they promised to pay the check is the contract binder.. but your vague as to what you mean

Any know who this Fred Robinson is? I've got two checks here from him today and I'm not sure if i should cash them if they are bouncing on everyone else.

So did anyone find out who this is? I just got a cheque from them and am unsure if I want to cash it now that I read this post. I have googled and searched like crazy and have no clue what sponsor it is. I went through my entire collection of sites to see who I sponsor that isn't CCBill and none of them are this guy.

Though I also do promote fleshlight. I am going to see what I can find on there.

I did a bunch of snooping around and found this
baolink.com/vendor.aspx?id=18784 The address shown is the same address on the envelope that my cheque came in. But that is not something that I obviously promoted. I think I may call the phone number tomorrow and find out what or who this is.

I emailed the guy and this is what I got back. I would say something fishy is going on.

I wrote:
Hello. I received a cheque from FRED ROBINSON TR for 106.78 dated 8/20/2006. In the for line it has 1002089. I don't know who or what program this is for, so if you could let me know that would be greatly appreciated.
