    Adobe Premiere Pro Capture Problem

    Hello,

I have been using the same computer and camera for over a year and a half with no problems. For some reason, when I try to capture video now through Premiere, it gives a recorder error message and disconnects the camera. I checked with different firewire ports and cables, and when I tried capturing through the Windows movie maker software, it worked just fine. I have seen posts on a few boards from others who have developed this problem, but no one seemed to have a solution. I even reinstalled the software and that did not work. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

Get Pinnicle Studio 10. I use that to capture. Premiere has had a few documented capture problems.

        Hello,

I looked up the specs on the program and it looks good. I do have a question, since you use it - does it allow you to import videos in wmv format, edit them, and export them as wmv's as well? I've tried this in Premiere and it does not wmv as an input format, to say the least.

Well, I am having the same issue with version 6.5 and Pro 1.0, so not sure going to 2 would change anything.
