What is an exit console?

I understand popups and popunders -- self explanitory. But what is meant by an exit console?

An exit cosole pops up when you close a page or hit the back button so it will be above any windows that may be open

Nope, it can be over, under, full-screen, 200x200px.. if it shows up at the end of viewing a site, it's an exit console ;)

hi all,

can anybody give me a tip how to create an exit window that is not blocked by IE popupblocker and the g-toolbar? I know how to create popups and popunders with javascript but an exit window.....
the onunload: tag dont work and i searched the forum for an alternative but i only read about people right here who want to buy exit-traffic but not how to generate this traffic.
can anybody help me please?
