Looking for some information

I'm very new to this forum though I've been lurking for awhile. You all seem very nice so I've finally gotten up the courage to bother you to ask some questions if you wouldn't mind answering I'd be forever greatful.
I'm really interested in the adult industry, behind the scenes kind of things. I've done some photography and I throughly enjoy it, I'm working on my webmaster skills but it'll take a long time before I am good enough to host my own site. My question is, what kind of work is there for someone who is interested in this industry but doesn't have the web design skills, I'm also a female student (yes I'm over 19, but by how much I won't say
) and I'm slightly paraniod about working in this industry.
So bascically to paraphrase, what kind of back ground jobs are avalible out there, and how can I make sure what I am doing would be safe?
