So, I'm doing galleries, and in the last few days, I've sent about 250 hits to one sponsor, and 30-40 to another, and no sales. Whats the average hits per sale for you guys? Do you use tours, or straight to the join page? And finally, what (about) is your gallery hits to sponsor hits ratio?

generally speaking i'll get 1 sale per 1000 clicks i send to a sponsor (but obviously depends on gallery, on niche, on content and on the sponsor)

usually 1:500 to 1:2500 depends on teh source of traffic.. quality is key.. our site, www.amateurcanada.com converts at 1:800 with lower traffic sponsors.
