hosting question...

Hi all,

I'm new here, and just started building my site.

where can i host it? can anyone recommend on a cheap place?

i started with byohosting.com, but they seem well, they S**K big time

most of the hosting companies don't even want to hear about porn (why?)

so, i need some help.

they should have .asp/.net, MSsql, 1.5-2 gigs per month, around 500 MB storage.

That's your problem you shouldn't have started with ASP

Learn Perl or PHP + MySQL and you're all set - then you open your options to thousands of competent hosts.

Atci Hosting has done me good cheapest plan 9.95 USD gets you 1000mb of storage and 50 gigs of bandwidth.Haven't had a problem yet and always available on ICQ will install anything you need

Your problem is that you are using mainstream hosts.

Check my site out, you need an ADULT host.
If your looking at cheap, you get what you pay for, cheap= shitty!

I'm on cyberwurx, I really like it, I had an issue with needing a library installed so I could use compiled PHP, I sent out an email at 3am EST and they had it installed and ready to go 15 minutes later... For what I pay (not much) , I dont expect service like that, these guys rock...
