Video File Splitting

Does anyone know of an easy way to split Video movies into smaller clips for the WEB?

I have movies in both Windows Media Files and MPEG-1 and original source .AVI Files.

I often see files split into 1 or two minute clips on other sites and think there must be an easy way to split them up.

ASF Tools works perfectly for this. Just do a search.
