Problem with email from my own domain

Hope someone can help me I currently have a unmanaged server and just noticed that I am not receiving nor am I able to send emails from my own email account what could be the problem? I haven't changed anything never had any problems. Im using neomail by the way. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Well if you have cpanel you could login as root and at the very bottom of the left hand panel, you should see a section where you can see the status of the services running. Check to make sure it is. You could also do this manually from the unix prompt.
