OK heres the rub...
Ive been seriously looking at rankings lately and figured out they are all bunch of BS.. heres why.. I get massive traffic, good uniques and everything but every ranking script out there puts me at low ranks..
So I figured Id look into them all. Alexa is a crock of shit since it counts your rank via visits by people with their tool bar installed only, and can be faked with software.. So fuck that...
Google ranks by counting links from other sites to yours and through clicks via their site plus text content if all the articles on the subject can be believed..
I even went to google and typed in the word Sex..
At the time the #1 site as sexect.org.. I figured I would view their source and see what kind of meta set up they have...
Nothing.. So that tells me meta is bullshit too..
So Im sitting here thinking that it has to be based on content text, and URL.. The biggest all the top hitters have is that the keyword searched for is in the URL somehow 99 times out of a 100..
Anyone have any free indepth insight they would like to post on the matter of ranking?

Code:
<meta name="description" content="SEX,ETC. -- - A Web site by Teens for Teens"> <meta name="keywords" content="">
