How DO I Create Galleries For Affiliates

I have created a few promotional galleries for my site:

My problem is that I need a way for My Reselling (Verotel) Affiliates to be able to use them for promotion and be able to make the links to my site uniquely trackable from their affiliate-id's from the surfers entry thru joining. Just like the big site owners do for their affiliates.

Hope I wasn't too wordy here and someone understands my question.

I'm not familiar w/ Verotel's links, so I'll just display a generic setup:

Your pages should end in .php (or your server should be setup to parse .html files with php).

This should be placed at the top of your galleries: (this "grabs" the affiliates id for inclusion in the links later on in the page. You can define a default "id" if you so desire where it says $a="default";

<?php

$a= $_REQUEST['id'];

if ($a hahahaha"") { $a="default"; }

?>

On the gallery, the links through to the site will look like so: (the "grabbed" variable will be passed through.)

Finally, have affiliates link to galleries like so:

http://www.yourgallerydomain.com/gal...r_affiliate_id

btw you should have a look at your galleries because they are not looking as they should look. I think you will lose much traffic on it. hit me up on icq if you need some advice on it 222100619

Verotel tracks banner clicks so you have to manually go to the source and place the affiliates tracking code into the banner html like I have done with all of our affilliates galleries. eg http://www.cheatingxxxwife.com/tgp/w...ndexcxw30.html

Carl: I haven't added the link info yet but I built this gallery tonight. Admittedly, I used Phoun's beautiful layout some as my guide. Better?

OK: I am ready. My first 3 galleries are done. Now I viewed your code. Are you saying that all I'd have to do is add the .shtml extension to each link code and that's it (and the instructions to affiliates to place their code at the end of each link after the question mark?

This code has to be inserted into each banners html

href="http://links.verotel.com/cgi-bin/showsite.verotel?vercode=13566:YOURCODEHERE"

Your URL does not track the sales, so you don't need to have any extensions in your URL. The vercode is your (the merchant) code and then place the affiliates code as well.

I have hundreds of affiliates using our galleries (we have over 300 galleries) and I set the galleries up for them so they do nothing.

Look up ssi includes, you need a snippet of code in the gallery that will substitute for whatever is after the ? in the url, so that each affiliate can put in his refcode the actual html source of my links is <a href=http://links.verotel.com/cgi-bin/showsite.verotel?vercode=11808:<!--#echo var ="QUERY_STRING" --> but when the server sends it it substitutes the "echo var" statement with the number after the ? in the address bar
