    Setting up an affiliate system?

    Hello, all -

I had some simple questions about how affiliate systems work.

For one, you see all these Web Sites that are part of the same Affiliate system. Although most seem to use a CCBill backend, how do they really work? Anyone have any good documnetation on this?

I'm also interested in how people make TGPs based on hosted galleries that sites provide, which then give the advertiser credit for the sale. You see sites such as:

    http://site.com/tgp?id=123456

I understand the URL, but would this script be one that CCBill itself provides as part of some client tools, or is this created by the webmaster him/her self? I'm a bit clueless in this realm, and I'd like to have a clue here.

    Thanks for the time

Seems a little too elementary for most of the users on here to help ya out... then again I'm a nobody so here goes...
You need to have CC Bill as a 3rd party biller (the person that does your transactions) first. Once you've created your account they have a "tools" section where you can upload your banners and galleries. The automatically have a code generated for you so that, when someone clicks on your banner or gallery link from another site, it "cookies" them.... They join x site, you get paid! The last 6 digits serve as your affiliate id.
Later on you want to sign up for another cc bill users affiliate program you use this same linking code to do so. Bla, Bla, Bla.
If you need further info you can get their 800 # off from their site and call them. They will guide you through the process as needed and give you some peoples ICQ #'s for future use.
If you don't know what ICQ is, look into it! It's the main form of communtication for the adult web game. Kinda like AIM for us porn pushers. LOL.
Oh yea, and in the tradition of GFY......
      Now go fuck yourself!

For the software I recommend www.myap.com it's a totally under-rated program. Nothing like it out there.
