Dreamweaver is nice and quite easy to get started with. Just download the trail and get running.

Hi Alicia,

I am self taught and I learned everything using Macromedia first. They are great programs and easily integrate with eachother. You can get 30 day trials of each and pretty much find a tutorial for anything you're trying to do by Googling it. After I got comfortable I went over to the Adobe products. If you want to see some of my work that I learned on my own, shoot me an email and I'll send you some sample links. Good luck! I found out that I love designing since I was forced to learn when I got in the industry.
