I am extremely happy with the amount of traffic our amateur content provider site gets, but it doesn't seem to translate into many sales.
The feedback we get usually says something like "The prices are reasonable, the amateur content fits what I am looking for, and the site looks fine. I will be sure to buy something in the future," But they don't buy anything.
When we got started, I thought the keys to success would be (in no particular order)
Traffic
Quality of content
Price
Site design
Is there some other element I am missing, or we are lacking in one or more areas? Is the market for poor quality content just too small?
We have tried free giveaways, etc. They were no help.
Any help is appreciated.
