hi please help me, I am new to this, and I have a page but I am trading links with people. How can I find out if I have a hitbot fooling my counters?

standard practice is to have a link that is specifically set up so that a person would not normally click on the link. Something like:

. <- http://www.mydomain.com/hitbottest.htm

put it somewhere on the page out of the way. Then check if this page is receiving hits using your web site statistics
