    Cameras

I hear the Canon Eos350 xt is a pretty good camera. Similar images to the Canon 20d. Anyone had experience with this one? Is there a significant reason I should just shell out the extra 400 or so for the 20D?

That totally depends on what you intend to use it for.

I have the EOS300 and I have been shooting content with it for about a year. The only reason I am now going to get the 20D, is that the Rebel series cameras have a slower buffer than the 10D and 20D. Which means if you shoot fast, you'll have to stop and wait for a minute while the buffer finishing dumping the images to the CF card. The image quality between the two cameras are identical because they use the same image sensor.

So a good first camera for me may indeed be the rebel 350tx. I believe it is a bit faster if I am not mistaken. All 3 have great reviews.

Unless you're shooting 5fps sports action, you don't need the buffer difference.

I don't know about you but I shoot porn for a living.

I shoot with the 20D and the only time I pushed the buffer is while shooting a surfer series in Maui.

I shoot with the 20D and love it. I thought that the 350d was too small and lacked what I was looking for in a camera.

Make sure that you get a good lens. The glass is what makes the camera.
