That may be cheap but they convert really well. My blog is converting them at about 1/300 and memberships sell for $30, $50 and $70 of which the affiliate gets 50% and you get 5%. They also retain well with about %60 staying on for more than 1 month for me.

So while all is said and done, the 5% may not be the highest in the business but you end up earning more in the long run. After all that is why I have them in my sig. We are all in this for the money - so why would I promote a site that is not going to make me the most money.

It really depends on the people that join under you. Not everyone has the same about, type, or quality of traffic. Your stats aren't the same for everyone else.
