    404 traffic question

    Hi,

I am looking at free host to use for my TGP's.

The only catch is that they take my 404 traffic.

Is this really a big deal, what if all of my pages and links are correct. Does that mean no 404 mesages will be displayed or am I overlooking something more obvious.

it seems to good to be true, can anyone post any feedback.

I am looking at www.pornarray.com btw.

    Thanks,

    Rob.

i'm not saying these guys do it but i've heard it said that some
freehost generate 404 errors to skim traffic. Personally i
wouldn't recommend using a free host, if something seems
too good to be true it usually is, plus if they start re-directing
your traffic it could affect your reputation... just my

At the very least, you can spend a minimal amount of money per month to get a virtual hosting account, and then go dedicated once you have the cashflow to support it.

Your thinking was right in that if you make sure your links are good and stay good, then the amount of 404 traffic you have will be minimal, but still, you ought to stay away from free hosts.

Considering that I feed my TGP sites with my 404 traffic (which is typically 150-300% productive) and it costs between 2 and 7 dollars per k for that kind of traffic... I would say that your free host isn't free at all. If I were hosted there I would be paying over $80/day for hosting at Ravos 404 traffic price. If you are planning on running a high traffic TGP I would suggest buying some hosting... There are alot of very good hosts out there for cheap... However... I have a trade that get's a TON of traffic that is hosted on a free host... http://cleanadulthost.com/
