Members, what members?

ok... Help. I could really use some suggestions. My site was launched all of 2 weeks ago. All is fine and dandy except that I've only got 3 members for my paysite. I've had a few hundred clicks but only about 0.1% actually sign up.

I could really use some help. I've spent over $165 on google and got one subscriber out of it.

Thanks

The best part was: "You have money. You give it to me, I use it to buy beers. I get fat, you get to see hot neked womens in sexy little videos. "

Good marketing!

Othar than that, your site lacks a lot in design... Maybe that's the problem.

The design is too boring to stick to the site more than 1 minute. If you have money spend it on getting professional designers to revamp your site. Just text on main page without any pic is too boring.

I don't think you need more graphics, I think you need better graphics. It would be wise to either expand your knowledge of photoshop or hire someone to design the site for you. If you've generated 3 signups so far you should do pretty well with a good looking site.

I spent 30 seconds on that site and couldn't even find any girls!

Ehm... I feel terrible for saying it, but... it was terrible! Boring...

Regarding the site: lose the big arrows at the bottom, maybe use smaller font, make the menu on the top more visible, make sure your thumbnails have right proportions. Make sure people know what they are paying for - what you describe mostly is your own advertising campaign (how many hits you get and search engines and blah blah) - the porn surfers are not interested.

And saying that you have some videos but very low quality isn't goint to help your sales either...

wow, thanks for all the honest responses people.
OK, I've spiced it up a bit. Check out the changes:
http://www.albertaamateurs.ca/
This is what I have done so far:
I changed the top menu so that it's easier to see.
I've redesigned the main page so that it's less confusing and graphically appealing.
Now I'm working on a free tour. I'm doing that as I speak so if you get a page that says UNDER CONSTRUCTION or COMING SOON, it just hasn't been uploaded (or created) yet. Give me tonight and It'll be done.

Any more suggestions?

You'd be better off dropping $300-400 for a quality design from someone who's experienced doing adult designs. It would pay off in the long run through the signups you'd get.

A question about marketing... is google's adwords really worth the money you have to put into it?

OK, I added a tour to it. As far as the base of the site goes, I don't want it totally redesigned. I don't want it to look like every other site out there. Anyways, check it out now and see if the changes are good or if I need more.

You don't have to look like every site out there just because you get professional help with your design. But you do need some help if you want to make some sales. I can have you converting much better for $250. Hit me on ICQ if you are interested.

yeah the fonts / color schemes your using and the basic graphical layout is not very good at all. if you're going to design it yourself, spend a lot of time visiting other sites, (not only adult sites) and start gathering up design concepts... practice a lot, thats the only way to get better. but don't copy a site, try to develope your own unique style of design first. it'll take time, but it'll be worth it in the end once you learn how to design well.

A lot of surfers won't like the full screen aspect because they won't know how to close your site down. They'll be more concerned with trying to get it off their screen than paying attention to the tour.

I would try to put more personality into it as well. Who are the Alberta Amateurs? Just pics of girls you grabbed off newsgroups? Give 'em some names, bios, etc. If you can get a surfer really interested in seeing pics of just one girl, you've got a sale.
