Google Adwords Question

I had setup an account and added my keywords and set my daily limit to 3.00 to start off while I got my act together.

During the course of 4 days:

Search Total = 17 @ $8.91 my cost

Content Total = 99 @ $81.67? (And this was just 1 day)

Now it's suppose to cap at 3.00 for the day, why did I get blasted on content searches past that to $81.67???

I use adwords

And I have no idea what your settings are, so...my #1 piece of advice is to pause all your campaigns right now. Email google tech support, right now. They're pretty good at getting back to folks.

As far as what do I think MAY have happened is this. Your $3.00 cap only applied to clicks, but you did not cap your cost per impression. Incidentally, I didn't even know you could pay by impression until I logged into adwords today. So make sure you double check and get a handle on what you're paying for, clicks, or impressions. I'm guessing that "searches" and "impressions" are meaning the same thing here. Could be wrong.

You put a 3.00 cap on the Bids... you need to put the cap on the CAMPAGNE.... ans then make each keyword bid 10-30 cents

google will get you everytime on adwords works well soemtimes but never leave there without spending 100$ LOL

it did the same thing to me I converted 80$ and spent 100$ lost 80$

I hope you made a few sales off your 81$

What keywords are you using?

I only use google for niche keywords, otherwsie u just get loads of people clicking, without buying anything.

I suggest that you desable the content network option espacialy if you put up some kick ass keywords. The parthners of google might not pull the add off as fast the themselves
