WTD - 13 % Unique ?

Hi -

I've got a trade that is sending me 13 % unique traffic.
This cant be good...
For my site, its a massive amount of traffic and it seems to be fairly productive... Im using AT and when I check amount of proxy hits, it comes back with a very low number.

If it is indeed 13% unique, does this mean that his trade script is just sending out RAWS instead of UNIQUE's or could it be that i am getting hit botted ?

Danke - i would really like to figure this out so i don?t get screwed over too much.

It could be both. I have had sites that send out 80% raw, and 20% unique, it turns out they misconfigured their script. It would be a good idea to talk to the webmaster of the other site. It is however more likely that you are getting hit botted. If the prodcutivity percentage is stable it's probably a click-thru bot.

Best bet is to contact the webmaster.

I tried talking to the webmasters of the sites in question (yea, i had another one pop up.) and never got a response back. It sure seemed like a hit bot... So what i did was directed all traffic from his site, right back to the site they were coming from.

It seems to work pretty and doesnt fill up my logs with BS traffic.
