    Dedicated Server Questions??

Which is better cPanel or DirectAdmin? For starting out a TGP is a dedicated server with 512mb Ram enough or should I bump up to a package with 1024mb Ram? This is what I am looking at to get started ($249.00/mo.):

    Intel P4 2.4 Ghz CPU
    1024 Mb RAM
    120 GB IDE Hard Drive
    Fully Managed
    1600 Gigs/month bandwidth
    Cpanels or DirectAdmin

Is that too much or not enough?

The package I listed is from serverprovider.com. I have also looked at Phat Servers and still checking a few others (XXXServers, etc.). I have never had ICQ. Guess I need to download that too. I'll add that to today's long list of tasks to do. Thank god Outlook has a task snooze button!

249$ for a celeron? Its expensive i guess. I am using Cpanel and its working very well but it uses a lot of cpu. Especially when its generating website stats. ( Awstats , Urchin , Webalizer ... )
