Affiliate Program Question

Ok guys. It seems that it's time to start looking into posting some serious ads on our site. The problem is until I can start selling traffic to other sites in the form of ads I need to throw out some affiliates to fill up adspace..

I dont just want poorn sites. I would like to find an affiliates program that encompasses a whole variety of niches and genres.

I have a list the size of buick full of porn site affiliates. Many wanting us to use our exit traffic and pop-ups which we will never do..

We just want a good vartiety of affiliates that have to do with everything else. I know there used to be tons of "one stop" affiliate programs but many are now by the way-side..

Is there still an old fashioned affiliate program out there. Perhaps with Pay-Per-Click or something?

I would seriously look into Streamray, there's plenty of niches, banners, exit consoles, co-branded sites to keep you busy until the traffic flows on in.

Hmm, depends on by what "else" you are looking for? Some porn programs offer software (like adware removal) or adult-related products. IMlive (a cam site) offers promo materials for mainstream customers - as a community chat site they offer "professionals" in everything from car maintenance to psychic readings. Of course, their bread n' butter is in porn.

As for non-adult ways to earn money, I'd suggest pay per click ads on your site - there's a ton of providers: google adwords, searchfeed.com and others (I think Overture requires a shitload of traffic before they accept new partners these days). As above, you can also try promoting software packages - ie anti-spyware programs and popup blockers, history erasers etc. which would be marketable to porn surfers.
