However this does pose a good question? WHat is beter repeat hits or unique hits? THe answer may partially depend upon the focus of your site and your target ,arket. Personally uniquer hits are more important but what a repeat hit is looking at is almost as important.

It also really matters on who your selling to. Lets say your marketing to AOL... Your unique will be very low because all website requests are sent through a proxy, where the proxy gets the actual site, not the user. Same thing with alot of college's or business computers.

Thats a key you might want to look at when comparing.
