Problem with .shtml files opening

Since I installed SP2 when I double click on some of my .shtml files it does not open. I have to change extension to .html to be able to view the file in IE on my PC.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Right click on the file, go to "Open File With." Choose the editor/viewer you want to use, then make sure that the box below the selection area is ticked "Always use this program" or something like that...

Thanks but who does not know about that?
The problem is that I already selected IE to open those files, but when I double click on some .shtml file nothing happens. Its since I installed SP2
