What's THE most secure web hosting?

I'm putting together a site and need THE most secure web hosting setup on the web. My customers, (who post important photographs), are all paranoid and sure everybody is going to rip them off. Is there a web hosting operation with a great reputation that hosts sites like Visa, Mastercard, government contractors and other sensitive sites?

Security doesn't come with the host, it comes with a knowledgeable Systems Administrator. This is a *must* if you're paranoid about security.

I understand that many good hosting companies that post/read this board do offer managed services - but think about the scope of their operation. How can a handful of admins take into consideration the individual security issues that affect a single server? I have worked with and at several large hosting companies that have offered managed support, but when it comes down to it, the best thing to do would be to contract out a colorful and experienced Systems Administrator to keep an eye on your stuff.

Along with helping run a hosting company (which provides 100% self-managed and dedicated servers), I do Sysadmin jobs on the side. Please contact me off the forum for more information if you are interested - I would be happy to give you some more pointers. [email protected].

        Thanks!

I agree with the above. Going with a security hosting company is overkill, and going to cost a ton in the long run.

You will have 1, maybe 2 servers to handle. Just get a competent system administrator to run them for you. Security on such a small scale like that is *not* a big deal for an expert.

As to what you were saying about visa, mastercard, government sites....they run everything on their own systems, in their own datacenters, with a staff of full-time employees monitoring 24/7. When security really matters, you do it yourself.

              no print screen help

I'm a photographer/web developer myself and have found a few tricks to protect my images. Like cascading a transparent gift over the image. But this does not stop "print screen". Does anyone now how I can cancel out print screen?

Printscreen is regular OS thing and it cannot be disabled from web application. If it's ok just put a visible copyright on the images so it cannot be removed and that is the best protection I think.

                  Thanks VickyQ,
I was afraid of that. How about photo pop-ups. I'm trying to get my images to open in a new window, with no boarders, and to size of image, smaller than normal window size. Eveything else I've tried opens in a new window with boarders and covers the screen.
                  Thanks, Sam
