    Server Setup and Management Services

    Hello, all -

I've been doing freelance server setup, management, and maintenance for a couple years now, and I've gotten really good at it. So good, in fact, that I quit my job to do this kind of work on my own, on a contract basis for various sites and organizations. Business has been going very well, but I would like to offer my services to the public at this point. They include initial install, setup, and extended management of dedicated servers on any OS. If you have a dedicated server and don't know how to take full advantage of it, I can help.

Dedicated Servers are great and all, and when people hear about how cheap they can be rented for, they jump right on the deal. However, one of the main reasons that these servers can be purchased so cheaply is because they are 100% self-managed. This may not mean a lot to all you experienced sysadmins and such, but for the average Joe who wants to take advantage of his new server and doesn't know how - well, I'm sure you understand at this point. The responsibility of the customer is to keep the machine current, secure, and functioning properly.

So, I've been doing this for a while. I am an experienced and seasoned sysadmin, with an eclectic skill set. I've been getting most of my clients by word-of-mouth, which is great - but I want more.

This is basically just a plug for me and my services which are offered for a small fee. I know that there are tons of "average Joe's" out there who know exactly what I am talking about, and it is those people whose business I want.

With that being said, anyone here have a need for a freelance sysadmin?

Thanks for the time, guys. I have found this board to not only be informative and fun, but also, an amazing tool.
