    Help me please.

I am trying to upload a new .gif header for my site into the ftp,
but whenever I change the linking code in autogallery it doesnt work.

Should I upload the .gif files a certain way, like binary or ASCII ,
or if there is something I am doing wrong when changing the linking code in autogallery?

Or is there anyone who can help me for some paypal money?

    Regards Rotti

gifs should be uploaded either binary (best option) or auto if you are in a rush.
if that doesn't work, contact your host. Sometimes the servers gets fuckedup and they make you go crazy when it is something that only the server admin can fix.

        Rotti,

Always upload images in Binary. You should be able to leave your FTP client settings to AUTO, and it will probably know what to do.

Try these things and see if they help.

If you are using Windows, hold down the SHIFT key and click refresh when loading the new page/graphic.

Try the full (direct) URL to the new GIF, and also hold down SHIFT when clicking refresh.

        For Macintosh, try Command R.

Your browser may have cached the image, and you need to force a reload. Those key combinations are for a hard refresh, forcing the browser to download the image from the server.

If that doesn't work, your web *server* might be caching the image. For that, you just have to wait a while.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
