i have now had 30,000 unique visits to my various movie galleries. and not a single sale. is this normal? or does it suck as much as i think it does?

What do your logs show? I run a few NN sites and sometimes a foreign X-rated TGP will hijack one of my galleries, by no means any offense to the X-rated tgp's. However, the ones that suck for me are always in .cz or .br domains) Yeah - the traffic's great, but, I know nobody will buy shit because all they want to see is sex. Check your referral log.
Also, there's some shit top-levels out there, IMO, like .tw, .cn and anything mid-east. Gigs of traffic and no sales from these countries. I just 403 their ass and be done with it.
