chameleon and Advanced submitter

Can you submit to tgps that aren't on their lists of tgps?

let's say tgp x isn't on their lists and you want to submit to it. can you add info for tgp x and have the scripts of Advanced submitter and chameleon submitter submit to it?

Indeed, you can add any amount of new sites at both of them.
I have both of them, but I like Chameleon a lot more since they have quite a big and weekly updated database. Personally, I also find Chameleon easier to work with.

Advanced is a lot better if you want to take the time to make your own database (which I would seriously recommend if you want to make any real money). Using the same database that everyone else uses is relatively pointless IMHO.

You can build your own database also in Chameleon.
If you're masochistic, you can delete whole database and start from scratch

No. I gave my opinion without trying both options.

Of course I have tried them both. Chameleon sucks, therefore I use Advanced Submitter.

Also program seems to be harder to learn for me.
Manual submission browsers were running in tabbed user interface. I don't like it, for me it's much better to have 2 or 4 windows arranged on the screen concurrently so I can immediately see the progress and don't need to switch between windows. For me it's much faster to look at the form's data and click the submit button.
But different things works for different people, I don't thing there is big difference in functionality between CS and AS.

It lacks power and flexibility. It includes a DB which just encourages people to submit to the same sites. If I submit to the same sites as hundreds of other people, what's the point of submitting? I can add sites to submit to in Chameleon, but if I don't pay to use Chameleon then I can't get my DB.

AS stores its data in an Access DB so I can modify it outside of AS quite easily. I have one of the most impressive TGP databases in existance I'm sure. With that DB and Advanced Submitter, Chameleon can't compare.

In short, you get more bang for your buck by going with Advanced Submitter.

Chameleon = $149 for 1 year (or $19.95/mo which is $239.40 a year).
AS = $98 for 1 year.

However, if you can't or aren't willing to make your own database, Chameleon might be better for you. Chameleon is easier to use. Chances are if you aren't willing to make a database, you also aren't willing to read documentation to show you how to use the software.

If you're serious about submitting and serious about making money, Advanced Submitter is the only way to go. If you want to just whip up a few galleries and hit a couple of buttons and hope for the best, Chameleon is for you.

I don't understand why you would get less trafic with chameleon's database + TGPs you've added to your AS database by yourself. But if it's too expensive for you, then forget about it.
If the database editing is more funny than gallery submitting for you, then it's ok.

Honestly it sounds like you couldn't figure out how to use Advanced Submitter. You were probably one of the many people who refuse to read documentation. I have used both programs recently and can tell you that nobody in their right mind can possibly say that Chameleon is superior.

I'm with Armed & Hammered on this one, I made my own db for AS and it's been doin great for me... It did take a long ass time to get it set up though.

You're right, it was a bitch to build the DB but I can't imagine using anything else.
