Question about domain names?

I hate to sound like the new guy, but I am. What I was wondering was sites you use to buy your domains. I would like to know about the $7 ones, and are they all legal?

Mentioned here already I know http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=364302 but Registerfly.com are good for me ( only criticism from some people is that the customer support from them is not the best ).

But I have always felt that they are ok and have a nice user friendly admin area.

I use www.EV1servers.net they have a great domain manager program and they are cheap $6.95.
