    Help Please... A Frames Question...

    Hi,
Just a quicky, despite it sounding silly, I am a bit stuck
If I am using a simple frameset:
(A side nav bar, top frame and main frame)
How do I stop people right clicking on a link, and opening in new window...
And in doing so, breaking out of the frames...
without having to resort to disabling the right click on the mouse ???

Please DONT just Say "Dont use frames"...

I know its something really obvious, but I just cant seem get it...
    TIA
    Luv Lay xx
Iz it because I iz Blonde ??? ;-)

you can ad a java script to each page that you load in the frames,
but than there is always the option that they might use left shift+ left mouse button to open it in another window.

for the java script go to www.hotscripts.com they will have ceveral mouse button protection scripts for free

There is a better way to do it (I reckon).

Instead of linking to child pages and specifying target frame, link to parent (frame index) page which specifies loading child pages.

                This can be achieved quite easily with ASP or PHP...just chuck it in the querystring;

                index.asp?page=sexybitches.asp

Which would put sexybitches.asp as initial loading page of main frame in your index.

...instead of linking directly to sexybitches.asp.

This is better because it is entirely server side - there is no chance of browser incompatabilities.

                Cheers
