    forms question

hi i have created an enquiry form inside a table... now on my computer and most others that i have viewed it on it is fine ie. the size i have set it too etc. but i have seen it on a few other computers where it stretches the outside table and doesnt seem to be constraining to the size i gave everything... this sux because i have image files around it and when it stretches the table it stuffs up the overall design/image....

    any ideas why?

all you can do is specify the "size" attribute in the HTML tag, such as <input type="text" size="20"> but basically there is no way to control how the browser will display this.

it depends on the user's browser, operating system, screen resolution, etc. the only way to get close enough to a real solution is to specify the size of the input fields with a style sheet, but that's a bit more involved and not all browsers can render style sheets correctly.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
