    OPtimizing Thumbs?

I need to make the thumbnails on my tgps load faster. Is there any way to do this other than pairing down the quality of the thumb??

Or the number of thumbs on the main page..

Assuming you're talking about House Of Pussy (site in your sig) I picked out 3 random thumbnails and they were all under 3K...so I don't think file size is your problem.

Yea, I'm looking for a way to speed up the load time on that site.

I think its more a problem with the code rather than anything else.

And I've found some tips on Comus' site that should make a little difference.....

Good luck with the tips from Comus... I remember someone mentioning a program that strips your source code of all extra spaces...that does drop file size a little bit..might help you out. Can't remember the name of it though... you could try talkin to my good friend google about it.

If you wanna shrink your code just enable Gzip on your server... it'll shrink your html document.
