    Bandwidth: How Much?

    Choosing a new host. For my other sites, I have a plan with unmetered bandwith however, no adult oriented sites.

    So when considering an adult host, what is reasonable amount of bandwidth used in month on an average website?

    Factors: Site with pix only... ? gigs/month
    Site with movies and pix ? gigs/month
    Doorway site to sponsors with minimal content ? gigs/month


    What is reasonable pricing for adult bandwith? .50 per gig?

              there's no such thing as an average website in adult.... it depends on how much traffic you're feeding it.....

              and yes, .50 a gig isn't too bad....

                      it depends, some like me burn just a couple of gigs a month and make a cement amount of dough while others burn hundreds of gigs a month.

                                  Depends, how large are your images, how many images on a page, and how many uniques you get per month, you can usually get a rough number from those three after calculation.

                                                  Your bandwidth usage greatly depends on a lot of factors, you have to just try and see what it does.
