Constant Problem with Webair

I've been with Webair since the launch of my site 6 weeks ago and my email has never worked right with them. I send email and people just never receive it AND people will send me emails and I just never receive them either. It's strange. The interesting thing is that they don't have attachments, they don't contain keywords that a spam filter would catch, they just disappear! This happens to me just every few days.

Also, at one time I just couldn't send or receive email. I would receive a message that says there are too many hosts conncted to the mysql database. Strange, I know. They did get that part fixed but now I'm still having the problem stated above.

Have any of you had this problem before with Webair? I'm thinking of just switching hosts because I can't afford to not receive information about my merchant account or information from affiliates, etc.

Supposedly WebAir's IP's are in spam databases, which means that emails wont get through or come to you from whoever uses the spam lists to filter out IPs which are listed as bad.

I havent looked into this any, but I've heard it from people, ask for clean IPs.

I've never had any problems like that. The onyl problem I do have is that the outgoing port that webair uses to sendmail is blocked with my DSL ISP so I can only receive mail from accounts on my domains.. sucks ass...

Yeah, that does suck that you can only receive mail, sean.

Anyone use a kick ass host that they care to recommend? I don't want any plugs here from the comanies themselves or any affiliates, just from people who use a host that they're happy enough with to recommend.

yes, i've had the same problem with my emails hosted on webair. i guess their mail servers are on spam lists. i told mike about this and he told me he would look into it...but that's all i know for now...

AlexG also told me about their recent problems, you can alwasy switch to a new payhost, I use Dreamhost and I'm very satisfied with them, they're always up and fast, others can recommend you other hosts, compare and change if you feel like.
