    Help with Comus

    hey, I'm trying to get my site up and going again.

    I downloaded comus, ran the install and it says I need Zend, although my PHPINFO() shows that I have it. I downloaded the newest Zend Optimizer, but I don't know how to install it.

    Comus will not install correctly without the newest zend I guess, because the admin pages and stuff are random characters.

    I'm using DreamHost.com and they are using:
    System: Linux ellipsis 2.4.26-grsec+w+fhs5+gr1914+nfs+++p4+c3+bu+at+gr0b+mc-v6.184m #1 SMP Wed Jun 9 17:56:51 PDT 2004 i686

    with:
    Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) DAV/1.0.3 mod_gzip/1.3.26.1a mod_ssl/2.8.10 OpenSSL/0.9.6c PHP/4.3.5

    and you can see Zend is on the server by going to
    http://www.blackoutsteens.com/phpinfo.php

    I know quite a few of you use this script and would really like to put it to good use if possible. I would really appreciate the help.

    Thanks, Blackout.

    just checked your phpinfo - doesnt look like theZend optimiser is installed... the phpinfo should have something like the text below alongside the Zend engine stuff ...

    with Zend Optimizer v2.5.3, Copyright (c) 1998-2004, by Zend Technologies

    you're probably going to need to get your hosting provider to install the Zend optimiser as the Comus scripts are encoded so they just won't run unless this package is installed...
