    Search Engine Help

    Hey Everybody!
We're new to GFY and have been finding tons of helpful info. One thing we need help with and can't seem to find the answer. Our domain is often mis-spelled and we registered the mis-spelled ones and direct them to the correct url. Problem is yahoo keeps picking up the incorrect ones first. So a search of Liv Wylder brings up www.livwilder.com when we want it to show the correct domain www.livwylder.com.
We're new to all of this, but the site is doing fantastic and the members love it so we're definitely in it for the long haul. We learn new things everyday and the site just keeps getting better but this search engine thing has got us stumped!
If anyone has suggestions it would be appreciated

hi and welcome to the board...
if you don't want your site livwilder.com to show up on search engines use a robot.txt file to stop the search engine spiders from crawling your site...you can do a search on google for robot.txt to see how it works.

    hope this helps.

nice to finally read a little something that was actually helpful to someone on GFY other than just fucking taunting them...

One more thing: Make sure you don't connect two domains to the same page/site ! Google will detect it as a dupe and kick one of the domains...which one is beyond your control, so maybe do a different entrance page for both of the domains.
