    ssi and shtml

is there a way to get ssi and shtml to work in IE? Probably a stupid question, but I use the include function and my pages won't load correctly on my computer but will on my actual sites, any suggestions?

Your server must provides SSI. But its much easier and faster to use PHP instead of SHTML.

You can try to run a webserver on your pc (apache is available
        for windows also)

-- ok there is no sig here --

I know what SSI and all that means, just wondering if there was a way, usually there is a way around everything on the internet.

            nope

well 2 options (that I know of)

install your own server like someone mentioned

            or

you can past the includes in, test it out, if everything looks fine that in copy them out to other files, but other than that you're gonna have to upload ot a server that has ssi supported

if it's not showing, it might have to be turned on, search for .htaccess
