    Question Regarding Free AVS

First of all.. I'm still new at this... and have a few questions regarding building a FREE AVS website (or FPN.. correct?)

I have seen payouts as high as 25 dollars per free sign-up. To me that seems incredible... almost too good to believe. Does this really mean that I can set up a "per se demo page" with an AVS logon at the bottom. New visitors would sign up for the free AVS and gain access to my "member section".. The visitor has yet to spend a penny but yet I'm getting paid a good 10-25 bucs...

I don't quiet understand how that would work. Hopefully I'm not wrong with any of the above.

If this isn't how it works please burst my bubble and put me back into reality.

    Thanks

Bascially yes. The surfer signs up 'for free' with his credit card for 'age verification'. He's also automatically given a free 3 or 5 day trial in another pay site (or two). If he doesn't cancel by the end of the trial, his CC is charged X dollars, which is how the AVS company makes their money and pays referrals.

So after a 5 day trial and your expecting to get paid, you could actually end up with $0, more times than not, hell, I had a dozen avs' on my website and though I had the site for less than a year, the only one who ever paid me was freenet pass, in 8 months they paid me $15.00 x 3 and then the honeymoon was over, so I sold the site.

Hell, join Sex Sentry, we may not give it away, but our prices are dirt cheap, hell, it's so cheap, they won't even notice it on their CC and still you could make $9.75 or $13.00 or even $22.75 per sale.

So let me get this straight.

Yes you earn comission from having people sign up to the free AVS... however you only get paid if they don't cancel the free trial, and actually go through with say a 39.99 plan... correct?

        Also one more thing..

If I start this AVS website. I have 16 galleries with 450 pictures in them. I have some Hardcore, Lesbian, Bondage, and Teen content. Would it be more persuasive to have all those galleries available. Or would it be better if I were to make a seperate Hardcore, Lesbian, Bondage and Teen site with less pictures?

To me it seems I would be more willing to give out my credit card number for 450 pictures in all those categories than for a site with 4 galleries and 80 pictures.

Give me your two cents worth.

        Thanks
        Wouter

          Hey Wouter,

There are 2 kinds of "free" AVS'es.

The first being like FreeNetPass and SexKey, the surfer gets a free AVS pass with a free trial to a pay site. If they don't cancel, they are billed for the pay site. But with these 2 systems, afaik, we are paid $15 regardless of whether or not the surfer gets billed for the pay site membership.

The second type of "free" AVS'es are not really free at all. In order to get a free AVS membership, the surfer has to buy a 1 month pay site membership for 35-50 bucks...

I would recommend FreeNetPass and Sexkey to you...feel free to use others as well, but I do best with those 2.

For your second question, well if you want to promote on free AVS'es, I would probably break it down into a bunch of smaller sites, but with FNP at least you could build a Premium site and upsell it from some smaller feeder sites.

Of course there are lots of other AVS'es that are straight up with the surfer and don't try to trick them saying it's free. You should also use some Pay AVS'es like CyberAge, AdultCheck, CSN Network, etc. These systems charge the surfer around 20-30 bucks a year for a membership, which is not hard to sell if you have a good sales pitch and tell them what else they get, how cheap it is compared to a pay site etc.
