    Some questions

Me and a friend are thinking about starting up a site, webmasters not models. And I was directed to this forum to get some questions answered. Oh note, we are thinking of starting a non-nude site.

Would it be better/more profitable to have many pictures of many girls and sell the rights to said picture, or have a site with just a couple of girls with a monthly membership?

I was told to start out with a free site then go to a pay one later. Is this a good idea?

About how much does it cost to start up site?

That's it for now, thank you.

        And great content.

Seriously I'm not sure what you are going to be doing. A site for webmasters not models but with content, I'm confused.

As for cost I think today to start a site with less than 500 sets in a mainstrream niche and 100 in a fetish one would be tough to convert. There are so many sites out there offering big packages for the surfers bucks.

It also needs to be good content, not blow out crap that can't sell on it's own merits.

Blowout deal. 880 videos, 2,400 image sets, plus many RAW videos. $500.
PM me for a deal. Skype Paulmarkham70

Eh....let me clarify. When I said we'd be webmasters, I was just stating that'd we'd be the webmasters of the site, there will models. It won't a "site for webmaster" it's going to be yet another site for anyone who wants to see some great looking women.

non-nude sites are a tough sell. As for all the how much, should we start out with a free site, etc. I'm sure you can read through some of the older threads here and have your questions answered. But if you're looking to start out a non-nude paysite, all I can say is good luck and consider yourself lucky if you make more then 2-3k a month.

              Hey Dweezle,

I couldn't help but put in my 2cents.

The fact is very simple, anything can sell. Whether it's nude or not. We host thousands of webmasters that sell practically any niche out there. So, what is the key to their success...?

              1. Traffic.
              2. Constant Updating - Let visitors know this, a 'Whats New' area.
              3. Traffic.
              4. Quality. Not always true if you update constantly and have lots of content.
              5. Traffic.
              6. Beef up your members area with what you say in your preview area. Don't skimp here... helps keep your retention.
              7. Traffic
              8. Multiple niches for targeted sales. Make sure to cross reference them to each other.
              9. Traffic... did I mention this?

I can go on and on... but I think these points are a good start. If you must do non-nude site, be smart by making suggestive sexy posing like bending over, spreads, etc... for example check out http://www.shinyangels.com ... and try to keep to good looking fresh faces with decent body shapes.

The bottom is once again is... traffic. It is the defining ingredient of the web. It is a perfect explaination of the Law of Averages. The more of one thing leads to more of another. More visitors, higher probablity of sales. PERIOD.

If you want to do a free site by sponsoring affiliate links, then there is only one answer, Traffic.

So if you have a BIG budget, call my partner Rob at http://www.brokertraffic.com (4.5 million users daily)... if not start off with places like http://www.adulttraffictrade.com

I hope this helps a bit without carrying away on my 8 years of experience in this industry.

Oh, one more thing. A perfect host. So check us out while you're at it... http://www.adulthosting.com

              Best Regards.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
