Good gallery. Good design, i like it ;)SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. -
I'm surprised actually. I was expecting something a lot worse.
However, look at it again from a surfer's perspective that's trying to get off. What on there is actually going to grab their attention to actually read the copy and click thru to the sponsor? Nothing. The text just blends into the background and becomes just a blur to the surfer. You're job is to get them to click thru to the sponsor. The surfer has been trained that underlined links that are a different color than the text is what they click on. USE that knowledge. They need to easily see some text that makes them think that there's something better on the sponsor's site.
Your thumb cropping job isn't too bad. But you could actually do a better job by not showing everything in more of them. i.e. give them a peak of what they'll see if they click on the thumb. That way they'll actually click the thumb, see the pic, back out and view your gallery again and again. If you show everything in the thumb then they can just pick and choose which ones to view or not view any at all. You want them to stay on your page for as long as possible to give the text and links a chance to get their attention.Comment

*nods a bit* Alright so I need to make my links stand out more. Think it'll be set if I up the text size a little, have the links underline (not only on mouseovers like they are now) and adjust the color to stick out more? Also, I'll deffinitely play with the thumb cropping some more. Thanks for your input.Originally posted by Tempest

That is a color used at the site I'm promoting... trying to draw as many parallels as I can between the gallery the surfer liked (enough to want to see more) and the site they end up at.Originally posted by kosmic
the reddish brown color throws me off a little.- samo
