Setting Up Shop

Hello guys/gals...

I was directed to this site by someone who appears to be running a very successful website.

I have been pondering whether or not I should make an attempt at developing a link site or something similar in hopes of being able to earn enough money to then invest into my main venture, a record label.

I am afraid I know nothing of this industry yet I do know web development and have a team capable of helping where needed.

I ask you, what is the best manner by which to begin in the development of site that is capable of generating revenue without the need for hosting content, movies etc?

How legal is this?
If I had a site linking to a multitude of sites and one of them ended up having illegal material not to my knowledge, am I then responsible?

Of the sites that enable you to profit from linking to them, how many of them offer material you can use to setup your site? In other words, graphic imagery used in your sites basic design.

Basically, I have a million questions but I wont overstay your attention at this point, however I do welcome any advice you are willing to offer me.

Thank you very much for that link. I've been reading it like mad.

My plan is to setup a free link site, mixture of text links with image thumbs.

I see sites with new text links almost daily, how is that done? Is it all manual or are there automated scripts used?

Also, is there by chance a way to setup text links so that they rotate every page load? In other words, I setup 10 rotation links for each text link.

This way, every time the page loads, the content is always different..?

If you want to set up a link list check out gossemer threads.

Do not use content that it is illegal in nature (Purchase legal content)

and spend money on advertising.
